Top 5 features or mechanics within games that we hope will(or would have) catch on with the rest of the industry. These can also be from older games long gone.Example of something that did: Shield recharging from Halo. Everyone has that now.
Example of something we might want: Dead Space's HUD integration or Prince of Persia 2008's failure masking.
Leave you ideas for a shorter title name to the show in the comments section.
Thanks,
Brad

thats a great one
I actually hate the Halo shield recharge/magic health it makes most games way to easy
I actually hate the way that every time someone comes up with a cool new mechanic, it starts showing up all over the fucking place. Do we really need every damn game to have recharging health? Half-Life 2 certainly doesn't suffer for not having it (in fact, it would actually make the game worse). Same goes for bullet time, and all the rest.
It just makes games more and more similar to each other and we start to lose the sense of individual character that each and every game used to have before these trends started catching on. Let Halo keep its recharging health, and how about other titles coming up with something new for a change?
So yeah, my suggestion for a title is "Top 5 game mechanics that need to Fuck Off and Die" ;P

to be honest i like recharging health, as it gives me that rush when its low and have to dive for cover, then i don't prefer it to a medpack health thing, Just think that they work better for the different games. Like for halo it works because it helps put you in the frame of mind of the master-cheif type character. But then most valve games also do it well. The best example of course being left4dead but that doesn't need to much explaining, does it?
