There was a good three or four months when things were a little shaky. I couldn't get excited about any games. Brad was beginning to worry a little about my interest in pursing the site. I honestly just could find any games that looked interesting. Recently I began being a little lenient with my money. Buying games just because I wanted to play and own them, not always thinking about the consequences. This spark helped me to start thinking about games I was excited about. Nobi Nobi Boy. Oboromuramasa. Flower, Sun, And Rain. And now Fragile: Sayonara Tsuki no Haikyo
I think I saw a few posters at TGS 2008, but of course with everything being in Japanese, you kind of just overlook it. This is not supposed to be a survivial horror game. It is being dubbed a human drama, which both excites and worries me. The game is set in a destroyed world, a young boy Seto is searching for survivors and answers. Of course the animation looks fantastic, which is one of the reasons I'm excited. And being something unique and different for the Wii, it's something for the starving system. It's being developed by tri-Crecendo, who's most recent work was Eternal Sonata for the Xbox 360. Here's the translated trailer, the theme song for the game is "Hikari" by Aoi Teshima.
Please visit the Official Site, listen to the music. [Link]

I caught a glimpse of this a week or so ago and I was very interested as well David. I just might pick it up.
Heh, them Japanese sure do like to name things Hikari. =P But I digress, the song is quite pretty. Parts of it seem awfully familiar though...
Holy crap, kinda looks like a Japanese made Fallout or something. o.@
man i forgot about this one, this and disaster day of crisis has gotta come out of here
Ever since I heard about this one a year or so ago, I was interested. And it's only looking better to me. The characters, the art, the ghosts...My only hope is that if/when it comes out here they KEEP the original box art. It's beautiful. KEEP the ORIGINAL boxart!
It's also got a very melancholy feel :)
Color me intrigued David. I love the art style, and any game with a animeish style that's not a RPG is usually rare, looks awesome.
It would be a really cool game mechanic if you actually controlled your flashlight with the Wii-mote. Game looks interesting, may have to pick it up.
It looks really nice, it has that calming tranquil feeling that is truly lacking these days. If I don't happen to pick it up I hope to see it on the channel someday.
Saw this in Game Informer a while ago. Very interesting ;]
HAHAHAH, SUCKS
NOT CONFIRMED FOR AMERICA
Yeah I've been watching this one for a while as it looks pretty effing spectacular. Like some kind of Silent Hill / Fallout meets Eternal Sonata. Although to be honest I still have no real idea exactly what the gameplay itself entails.
But as "David" so eloquently put it above me - there's no guarantee we're going to see this one anywhere outside of Japan. Having said that, something that's obviously as highly budgeted as this with so much care put into the production values, I'd be very surprised if it doesn't get published in the West by somebody. Fingers crossed, everybody.
Oh my god..
That trailer, this game looks like it's going to be hella amazing. It seems so interesting already. If only I had a Wii.. :(
I would love to play this game if it gets a NA release. Animation is stunning and I'm really loving the unique storyline.
After watching this trailer about 22 times, I really cannot wait for this game...It looks amazing...The music, the visuals, and of course, the story looks as if it will suck me into it...It looks like one of those touching stories that make you cry... Hopefully this'll come out in the US soon =]
