New Star Ocean 4 trailer looks shitty, then awesome, and then shitty again. Fine by me.
So in my eyes, everything I've seen outside of battle in this game looks pretty bad. Character designs get special mention of being amazingly fecal. But keep watching and about half way in you will see 20 or 30 seconds of battle gameplay. And it looks fucking awesome. I love me some completely over-the-fucking-top special attacks.
I just hope this controls a hell of a lot better than Star Ocean 3.

I kinda thought it looked shitty altogether. I hate the characters designs.
All the characters look like little dolls to me for some reason.
Yea, they really look like dolls, especially with the awkward movements
The characters kinda creep me out, especially the little girl, they remind me of Chucky.
I dunno about the combat, it seems decent but I don't like how it looked like they were just showing specials and didn't show much normal combat.
The last Star Ocean I played (PS2) didn't impress that much so I don't have high hopes for this one but I haven't done any research on this new game so my opinion doesn't mean much.
Reimei or whatever, the first girl you see looks so...annoying.
And they were really twitchy. XD
Meh, the first Star Ocean I played was the one on PS2 (before I know there were ones before it) and it's just so hard to get into.
If I can finally beat that one, then maybe I can give the 4th one a try.
You people need to play Star Ocean 2. That was on the PS and I completly fell in love with it.
While I don't particularly mind the designs of the characters I don't like the whole doll look. If it was the same clothing designs with the look of SO3 it would be better (even if it's less graphically intense).
Loved SO3 though. The gameplay and story especially so I will be getting SO4 most definitely.
Looks like something thay I won't play, and then Yagabaga will yell at em for not playing it.
(I.E: Last Remnant, Tales of Vesperia etc)
