FF Versus XIII Trailer is Mind Blowing?
In addition to the the new FFXIII Trailer finally going public today, the FFVsXIII trailer made it's public debut as well. Of course, the trailer is entirely CG but it looks absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see the actual in-game engine in action. But for now, check it out:

I swear I just saw Travis Touchdown. Must have this now ><
Fuck Square Enix, just show some gameplay already.
I have always loved the final fantasy series and anyone who says final fantasy is crap can kiss my finnish german pollock russian american ass. There I said it.
Looks damn sexy
That looks simply amazing. It reminds me of Advent Children, but that's not surprising becuase considering they are on the team. Anyway, looks can sell, but what about some gameplay?
Holy crap. I always forget how sexy the men look in these games. I can only hope the game play and story are just as awesome.
Now excuse me as I faint.
Just watched both of these trailers on 1up, and they gave me fucking goosebumps. I knew this was going to be a pretty game, but god damn.
One thing I definitely took away from these. Was the reiteration that I am more exited about versus than 13. Doesn't exactly help its case that I'm a total Tetsuya Nomura whore, but whatever.
From the few trickles of story details I've heard, Versus is sounding a lot more interesting. I think their choice to go in a darker direction with the series will definitely pay off.
That said, 13 doesn't look like it is going to be bad by any means. These games are a large contributor to why I am planning on getting a PS3 (I'm aware that ff13 (And probably Versus at this rate also) is going to be cross platform with the 360, but as it was developed for the ps3, the graphics will probably be slightly crisper on the PS3, and I want the whole shebang when I play this), But Versus just has that little extra something to it that stands out.
All and all. These games look fantastic, and even though we have not seen any game play from Versus. The little bits that have been released for 13 impress me to no end (Granted. 5 Seconds of game play isn't much, but hell, it's something).
The only knock I can give to these games, are the fact that they have been in development for ever. They were announced to be in development before the PS3 was released (Which I'm tempted to start calling "Killzone 2 syndrome").
But if this is a sign of things to come. They better ship a change of pants with these. 'cuz they are looking bust-a-nut fantastic.
This trailer looks hella amazing. I'm looking forward to both XIII installments. This game is gonna make me invest in a PS3, and it'd be damn worth it too.
I...am speechless.
It is truly mind-blowing.
I cried...it was so beautiful (what can I say, I'm a girl and things like this make me so happy XDD)
Well, shit. Now I HAVE to buy a PS3.
I'm agreeing with some of the other guys that I'm a lot more interested in this game than I am in FF XIII itself, the trailer for which reminds me just a bit too much of FF VIII and especially X (my two least favourite games in the series). Versus looks like they're going back to the sort of "hyper-modern, with strong sci-fi overtones" of FF VII's Midgar setting, which is no bad thing as I think that's the most fully-realised environment of any FF game so far (maybe apart from Ivalice).
I think that modern / near-future setting really helps to offset the melodrama of the standard FF storyline, which is why I think FF7 managed to strike a genuinely emotional chord whereas the usual FF game just comes off as weird and off-the wall due to the unrecogniseable pseudo-fantasy design.
But fuck, I'm still playing FF XII. I just recently started playing it again after a LONG hiatus (which I have a habit of doing) and I now have 50 hours on the clock and I'm still probably not even halfway through the story.
Wow... Makes me look at my XBox in shame...
This trailer give me the vibe of a FFVIII mix with Kingdom heart ...in a cetain way.
