Remember that teaser trailer that went up a few weeks ago. The one that everyone assumed was leading up to the announcement of MGS4 on the Xbox 360. Yeah... it has been confirmed that this is no more than MGS Touch.... an iphone game based off of the story and characters of MGS4. I know this will probably annoy alot of you (including Brad) but color me excited... MGS4 remains an exclusive for now. Since I don't have an iPhone, don't expect any thoughts or impressions from me. However, it is nice to see that the iPhone is creeping closer to becoming a legitimate gaming portable device. -Nick

Nick you probably ran outside found the nearest xbox fan and said "HA!! MGS IS STILL OURS!"
That just made my day
Apple's getting all the attention lol
I was pretty excited to see another project. But I was knew it was something little to get all hyped about since MGS4 just came out... Well I hope this is fun lol
You're not really glad that 360 owners don't get MGS4, are you? Is there some joy to be had in keeping games from gamers? While I can certainly understand Sony's desire to maintain its few remaining exclusives (and Microsoft theirs), I don't derive any enjoyment from it. It's logical business, it hurts the consumer, and it's ugly; the last thing gamers need to do is encourage it.
Eeeeh, f**k Apple.
there, I said it.
They are nothing more than a fruit to me now.
Justin... my answer for you is.... I am really glad that it remains an exclusive.
HOWEVER...
I do understand that it is bad for the consumer and for the industry. Don't get your panties in a bunch, it's going to happen eventually. MGS4 will be on XB360 before the end of 2010 more than likely.
I am happy about this because of the big fuss people through over this stupid teaser trailer. I was incredibly annoyed by the Microsoft fan boys who screamed: "TAKE THAT SONY!" when they saw the green logo. If they are going to make the announcement, I would rather them be up front about it.... that is all.
I was a little sad about this, mgs is my favorite series in video games I just don't have the money to buy a ps3 right now.
Agreed on all counts, though I still don't expect MGS4 on the 360, if only due to disk storage space requirements. It'd be hilarious to see the stack of DVDs they'd need. :)
I'm just glad all the stupid rumours can be put to rest. As soon as someone mentioned iPhone it became glaringly obvious that that's what it's most probably going to be on. I just feel sorry for the people who truly got their hopes up for MGS4: Transistance for 360 or even Ocelot Orange Soda.
In any case, I'm not sure many are going to be excited for MGS Touch anyway seeing as its basically Duck Hunt with Snake thrown in now.
i think it was pretty obvious that it wasn't for 360, i mean really, after all this speculation, are they really going to make the teaser green by accident? They did it to mess with everyone.
Nice, the 360 has it's own line of good exclusives, the PS3 needs it's own too =)
Look, Im all fine and dandy putting the MGS Series on the Handhelds again, but why go to the gimic filled iPhone? Why not put it on a DS or a PSP where you would have a tad more than just "LOLZ POKE SCREEN". In short, the iPhone has too many flaws that they are still Ironing out to really become a gaming device, if you want a gaming device, get a DS or a PSP, get the iPhone for calls and other multimedia.
