A lesson in failure.

If you have played through Indigo Prophecy or don't care about spoilers, watch the following videos. They are from the same game. I promise.

These are the people making Heavy Rain. And this is why I am both excited and terrified for the game.

The first video is 10 minutes of the game very early on. It is fresh and interesting, and for many, a huge step forward for the adventure game genre. I was loving the game at this point.

The second clip is a section of gameplay towards the very end of the game. Nothing needs to be said about this clip.

Yeah...

Well despite it getting all weird at the end, I still love the game.

I only wish I had a PS3 so I could check out Heavy Rain...

wow that was...awkward towards the end its was like dragon ball z with them flying all over the place and the fact that you don't even get to fight that's bad and you have to do that stupid guessing game for 5 minutes...so yeah

The ending was very very outrageous and unnecessary, but the game itself was fantastic.

I've never played the game, but I'm interested. Even if that fight at the end is a total clusterfuck, the core gamplay looks interesting. I hope Heavy Rain turns out good.

Heavy Rain was one of the deciding factors in which of the current gen consoles to pick up for me. I have all three now, but suffice it to say I got my PS3 first.

From the beginning they established that Heavy Rain wasn't going to have any supernatural elements which was the primary reason for the complete 180 in play styles between the beginning and end of Indigo Prophecy. Could still happen, mind you.

Heavy Rain could be good as long as it doesn't become the Matrix at the end...

I though it was the best game for 10$. Game play was solid to me

Haha, I totally remember doing that fight when I played. It made no sense at all to me, I was a bit =| when it happened. But apart from the whole 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' fight, I thought the game was awesome.

I could not put together all of those button sequences that looks really hard, and also didn't the game look like a fight that would take place in the Matrix.

i remember playing this game years ago. the transformation seems even worse in hindsight.

the quicktime event gameplay was pretty repetitive and boring IMO
