Today was the biggest WTF of my life. I don't know what is up with today but I'll leave it all with 2008. I tried to edit a New Year's video this morning and my program has been having problems syncing up.Later I turned on my Zune 30, it tried to load up but stopped suddenly. I turned on my other one, same thing. So, uh, did I mention I bought another one? I have three Zune 30's, a black, a brown, and a white. Anyways, I turned the third one on, same thing. Three Zune's all "bricked."
Apparently I'm not the only one. Every Zune 30 which was turned on today is stuck in limbo. I've heard it's an internal clock error and we're waiting to hear from Microsoft. Just thought you'd like to know.
I have a picture to post as proof, but keeping in line with my WTF Day, it won't send to my email from Mike's iPhone. Photo Delivery Failed. Data Server Error.
WTF,
David

Ah man, now we can't see the new Zune's picture!!?!?!?!?
Btw, I thought you were going to buy a new Zune next year. >_>
Meh sounds like the Y2K bug speculation lol... >_>;
How come Microsoft only screw stuff up, I mean srsly come on >_>
Man, fuck, I thought I was the only one. I turned on my Zune last night and I couldn't do anything, it bricked like that too. I hope Microsoft fix's this soon.
And what the hell are you going to do with 3 Zunes?
lol thats why you should just break down and buy a IPOD
Screw Ipod's. Overrated pieces of crap.
According to Microsoft, it's just an issue with the internal clock driver, and that you need to let the battery die, then recharge it and it'll fix itself for tomorrow.
and yet my spiffy iphone works just fine BWAHAHAHA!
Microsoft forgot there was a thing called a leap year.
ah, that would explain why a guy at work was asking people if we knew how to "reboot" his zune because it didn't seem to be working. Sometimes it pays to have a crappy little mp3 player (RCA Pearl), no real software or anything to go wrong.
why do you need 3 zunes? I could understand 2, one for each ear, but three?
oh well it's your choice
Apparently Microsoft, the biggest software company in the world, doesn't know how to program in an extra day for a leap year.
yep, this happened to all zune users, I bet it happened to Matt's too.
Microsoft :I
PS: I pods are still worse IMO
Just let the battery run out and charge it back up here is Microsoft's response: http://tech.yahoo.com/news/pcworld/20081231/tc_pcworld/microsoftsaysleapyearbugcausedzunefailures
