So Christmas has come and gone once more and I am gleeful as I spend the days after playing multitudes of games. It is always fun to find out what people received for Christmas so go ahead and tell us what game related gifts you received for Christmas or if you just have a game related Christmas story that might warm my heart or make me laugh out loud, tell us! No... tell the world!
It was kind of a small, uneventful Christmas for my family. I am currently visiting family in California but am using any free time to play my new games. For Christmas, I finally got a new DS Lite along with Final Fantasy IV so I am now about 3 or 4 hours into that. I received a few gift cards as well that I will be using to get my hands on Chrono Trigger as well. So go ahead and tell us what games you finally got your hands on!

the christmas spirit has deluded slightly for me. anywho, i got Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider Underworld, and a $200 gift card to best buy. That's enough money for the dazzle so i'll be broadcasting from now on ^_^

I got Time Crisis 4 with the guncon, and a gameshark textpad for the PS3. So I'm definitely going to have easier time's typing things in MGO and LBP.
I got: Orange Box, LBP, PoP and GH world tour. Also, my sis got Valkyria Chronicles. This christmas is gonna be great ^_^
I got Chrono Trigger (DS), Guitar Hero 1 & 2 Dual Pack (PS2), and Saints Row 2 (Xbox 360).
My main character in Saints Row 2 is The Joker, based on Heath Ledger's. It's pretty awesome wandering around Stillwater as Joker, and at the begging during the prison escape it felt kind of like I was escaping from Arkham Asylum. It funny seeing people tell my character he looks different and then asks if he's done something with his hair, and it's The Joker sitter there, lol.
Err...excuse the spelling errors, still a bit tired. Guess I should have previewed that first. >_>;
I don't WANT to know why Nick had that picture.
That aside, my Christmas was uneventful, spent time with my cousins who piss me off to no end and my sister who lives out of the country.
I got the official Sony Textpad for the PS3 and will be getting an arcade stick as soon as it arrives in the mail. I didn’t get anything else except for money which will be put towards 09 games.
I only got 1 game: Fall out 3, because I never had time to get it before Christmas, so I put that on my list. Also, I got game store gift cards.
Pretty uneventful.

This Christmas was great. I got LittleBigPlanet, Prince of Persia, Valkyria Chronicles, and Castlevania: OoE. Plus a nice new shiny iPod to listen to 4pp while I play them. ^^
I got a DS Lite. My old silver and clunky DS had a cracked upper screen. And a some nice clothes :D.

I got Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, Fallout 3 and Medal of Honor: Airborne. I orginally found the two games my dad couldn't find and ordered them. Sadly my ups driver had a brainfart and left my package next door which I won't be able to get until monday or tuesday. I ordered Rule of Rose and Phantasy Star Universe.
I got an Xbox 360 with Prince of Persia, and I'm really enjoying the game. :)

I got Valkyria Chronicles, Prince of Persia, Resistance 2 Collectors Edition, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Seasons 1 & 2 and AVGN DVD 2 Pack, and a new Headset for my Xbox 360. Also Sakura apparently got some implants, because in the manga, she's...a bit lacking in that department.
Well I'm really not the type to want Christmas gifts anymore. But despite my plea for my parents not to spend too much on me, they did. Not by alot though this time.
I got some unexpected and useless stuff as usual (Do I need a blow up gaming char when I already have one in my room?) but I got a ton of good DVDs like The Dark Knight, Wall-E, a Ronnie Barker box set etc. but what I was surprised to find was Fallout 3 from my sister. I didn't have plans on getting F3 for some time because I knew I'd get addicted to it. How right I was. Goddamn it all >.<
Still, I need a break from LBP now. I'm spending more time trying to figure out a design and plan for levels than actually playing the game.

I got Valkyria Chronicles and I think its fantastic so far. I'm only in the third chapter or so but as far as everything about the game goes, it is great.

being laid off recently didn't give or get much, was able to afford most of the good games thankfully before hand. Pretty much my gift has been to play my backlog and a few psn and live games so not to bad, hoping to find something in the spring before more games hit.
No games for me .. but my best friend Michi did get me a very fun Sonic t-shirt! =D

I mostly got cash from my family and friends, which I used some to buy myself Fallout 3. Thinking about what other games I want at the moment but I'm sure I'll be buying more soon.
I got clothes,more clothes,MORE CLOTHES,Tom Clancy's EndWar,Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30,lots of deoderants(its almost like they all saying i stink),this BaByliss for men thingymajigger,Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium razor and a yet to get GFX card.
Christmas wasnt bad apart from the fact i had a cousin who had about 30 presents(including a hannah shittana guitar) so i struggled to stay awake while watching her open those damn presents.....
Well, I ordered Oddworld: Stranger's Wraith, since it looked so fun when Brad and Travis played it. I actually ordered it twice by accident...Gamestop's site was too slow, so I thought I did something wrong, lol!
And as far as gaming goes thats it for Christmas. I didn't recieve any games because I didn't really ask for any... I pretty much buy all the games I want since I have a job, and my birthday is ten days before Christmas and I took care of some gaming gifts then, so I'm still good!

My X-mas wasn't bad, Got CoD:WaW and Shaun White (Both for Wii) and I'm having a ton of fun with both of those!
Also got a Wii points card with 2000 points, so I downloaded World of Goo off WiiWare and got Super Mario Bros. 3 off VC with the remaining 500 points.
And somewhat related I got a hefty amount of money that will in time be spent on games...

Well my christmas was alright, i just went to Disney Phuckin World!!!! it was amazing, ive been about 4 times in my life, and everytime its been amazing to me. But i have a story that just warms me inside everytime i tell it. here it goes
When i was about 13 my parents suprised the whole family and told us, instead of staying home, we were going to go to Disney World. Instantly everyone was screaming, yelling and jumping with joy haha, My dad had a suprise for my mom as well too, he booked us in the All Star Resort, which bak in the day was HUGE!!!! so we pack up in the car and start driving, close to about 8 hours til we finally get there. We unpack in the hotel, and just go to sleep, the next day we wake up and my dad gives each of us a pass, that says 5 Day ParkHopper. Which basically means you can go to any park that day and go to another one, anytime you want. Like in the morning you want to go to Magic Kingdom and then You want to see the Fireworks at night at Epcot, easy as pie, mmmm pie haha bak on topic. So after 4 days go bye, Christmas is the next day, we couldnt sleep, we waited and waited to get up and go to another park. Instantly the entire family bonded for that moment of the day, just having fun and riding rides.
So the end of the day comes and we start to pack up and leave. Everyone is sad because we wanted to stay longer, as were putting our stuff in the car, my dad looks at everyone and asks "do you guys wanna stay another day"? "YES!!!!!" said everyone, we were so excited. So we park the car in the MK lot and go to the front of MK, my dad asks us to wait at the benches, about half an hour goes by, feels like 5 hours when your a kid haha. My dad comes back with one of the greatest gifts he has ever given anyone. "here you go" he said, in his hands were Annual Passes. Good for all year!!!! We were exstatic! we couldnt believe it. We thought, "well that means were coming bak again!!". We stayed 3 more days and kept going back the remainder of the year.
I still get chills and a happy feeling inside when i think back to that time. Now its 2008 and money is crucial this time around, we saved money over 4 years to go. Since everything is so expensive these days, they make you pay 12 buks just to park!!!, bak then it used to be like 4! anyway, we went again this christmas and hasnt changed, i feel like a little kid again when i get into the park. The best part was i met someone there, who happens to live in my city. (who woulda thought?) We walked around and talked for hours, rode rides, and began to flirt haha The best part was at night, in Time Square, the middle of Magic Kingdom, they had Snow Machines, that made it snow. She held my hand and kissed me on the cheek, then i looked at her and i kissed her, at least 50 people were watching, and some people even took pictures (weird) after that she wanted to dance, so we slow danced in the middle of time square, and soon enough everyone started to join in. It was truly an amazing moment. and for a man who hasnt been in a relationship in over 5 years, that made me feel something. So now im back in my hometown, and seing Rebecca, my new girlfriend, i guess Dreams do come true :)

My girlfriend bought me a new Xbox 360 that came with Gears of War 1 & 2 and Far Cry 2. And with some of the money I got for Christmas, I bought Left 4 Dead. Will probably end up buying myself a few others too. :)
