So I wrote out a list 2 days ago. It was a short list of games I will be much happier knowing I got through this year. A list of 10 games I would like to see the credits roll on by the end of 2008. I have started plating most of the games, and some are closer to the end than others. I already have a good start on the list. Here is the update:Started 12/10/2008:

Valkyria Chronicles - 40%-50%?
Gears of War 2 - 40%?
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - 82%
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissocrap - 70%?

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath - 0%
Half Life 1 (PS2) - 60-65%?
Silent Hill 1 - 50%?
By the way, I'm still working on my big 2008 'completed games' list. I might roll that out last day of the year though so I can finish some these above games.
Oh and here is the reason I will fail horribly on this list. I'm getting this today:

Hahaha, you didn't like Harmony of Dissonance? Twas my first Castlevania game.
One of the main killers for brad with harmony of Dissonance was the atrocious music. Which i agree that it has the worst music of any Castlevania game, the only decent track being Juste's theme.
Anywho, still waiting for my copy of Persona 4, but if people are saying it's better than 3, then I may just jizz in my pant. =3
My copy of SMG:P4 just arrived today, and I'm loving it. I really like P3, so this is really just a step up. it's cool to see a great PS2 game get released so late in it's lifespan.
Just got Persona 4 last night, its the first Persona game I've played and so far I'm liking it a lot, it takes a couple hours for it to start moving, but I really love the animated cut scenes.
I would say good luck, but I'm finding it hard to believe that list will be complete, especially if you have P4 now. lol. Well, might as well. Good luck Brad.
Nice! I'm also waiting for my copy of P4 but I can't wait to watch you play. Enjoyed P3 a lot. Just curious, have you played P3 Brad?
Fuck, Persona 4 doesn't come out in the UK until "Spring 2009", whatever the hell that actually means. I'll have to try and pick up P3: FES (which is really hard to find here) to tide me over until then. I still have a fucking enormous backlog of unplayed and unfinished games though, so I'll probably still be getting through all the old stuff by the time P4 comes out.
Also, come on Brad, you could at least play Half-Life on the PC. I can only imagine the PS2 version would be pretty shitty by comparison. And if I were you, I'd just get up to Xen and then quit the game. That last level and the final boss are the worst piece of game design I've played, especially coming from Valve. It's incredibly frustrating and difficult, but not in the way that makes you satisfied when you finally beat it. You just think, "well, thank fuck I never have to do that again". You won't be missing anything by not finishing it.
Having said that, if you do decide to play it then do us a favour and do it on the feed for sheer comedy value. When 500 people type "WHAT GAME IS THIS" in chat we can tell them it's Killzone 2.
