If you've been around chat for a while you'll know mod Corvus. He came in the limelight back when I was playing Majora's Mask and has been known to give me a hard time about playing games. I assure you viewers and chatters that we are good friends and have even talked about meeting up for Thanksgiving Dinner. Our Kid Link and Skull Kid friendship is a strong as ever.As proof I have included a conversation we had last night, in the midst of my playing Metroid Prime. To Corvus I say, I am honored to be your favorite member and I will keep doing my best to make you proud. What are you doing for Spring Break?
In other news I am proud to display the draw for the Left 4 Dead Tourney. This was all orchestrated by some of our regular/long time chatters. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out to see how things develop. Our very own Travis Granger is competing as part of Team 1. We'll keep you guys posted on who moves on to the second round. It's even possible I could find some kind of prize for the winners of the tourney, provided it's not Travis. Actually, I'll announce that I'm putting out a Bounty for the Team who takes the so called "god" out.
Have fun,
David

I had hoped to enter the L4D tourney as it sounded like fun but I had to opt out of it. My schedule is just too crazy right now and I hardly have time to play anything for more than a few minutes at a time. I was interested in the tournament as a way to get back into Left 4 Dead as I sort of abandoned it for Fallout 3 and a slew of older games I picked up recently. Though I won't be participating I look forward to updates on the happenings in the event.
Good luck to all the players, I'm sure a lot of great stories will emerge from these sessions so I hope people will share their experiences by way of recapping their rounds in the forums.
Bounty? why can't i win something for once. god dammit.
I wish someone could set up a PS3 Shooter Tourney. But barely anyone in the community (that I've seen) except Slytman bought Resistance 2. I hope Killzone 2 see's some light in this community.
I wish there was some way to record and compile footage of all the matches =/
Good luck to all L4D tourney contestants. It should be interesting to follow.
(I bet Corvus is blushing right now heehee)
Do I see some editing on that final line of Corvus'?
Haha, corvus, sneaky dog, he is.
Thanks David for showing some light on the tourney. The roster list isn't quite finalized yet (people dropping out and some signing up). We should get tourney started soon however
Terrible edit of the last line and the entire picture in general. I know I cussed you out pretty hard in that IM. Didn't think it'd hit you so hard that you'd have to edit the entire thing into sometype of imaginary conversation about friendship. But then again, it's you.
The tournament ladder is also out of date. You're gettin' sloppy.
Lets go UnderKips!
How much Moolah are we talking David, for this bounty?
That tournament ladder is a bit oddly shaped, methinks. Infact teams 4,8,5,and 7 have it much easier than the rest of them as they have fewer rounds until they become finalists. I think I'll pu my money on one of them
It's cool that so many of y'all are entering this tourney
Good Luck to everyone that has entered the L4D Tourney.
Oh and David...
Your my fav as well.
