We finally recorded the first revival club podcast last night and it should be up in the next 24 hours on itunes. Thanks to everyone who showed up and to everyone who left their reviews and suggestions in the forum. It was a little bit of a rough start and the format was a little all over the place but its gonna take a few shows before we finally settle on a routine for this show. For what it was worth, it was a lot of interesting conversations and i'm happy to have the first one under our belt. So that leaves the next show... since we didn't get to record until mid February, we decided on a short/sweet game that would be relatively easy to finish and talk about before the end of February. We decided on "Splinter Cell: Double Agent" for a number of reasons but most importantly, it is accessible and cheap so get out there and pick up a copy! Play the game and send me any thoughts or opinions to: Nickhenderson@4playerpodcast.com
or
post your thoughts about the game in this new forum thread: Official "Splinter Cell: Double Agent" Thread
Double Agent was the most recent Splinter Cell game in the series and introduced a number of new gameplay mechanics to the series. Many regard this series as being superior to Metal Gear Solid in terms of stealth so it should be interesting. We picked Double Agent because it was the most recent but also one of the least praised despite its obvious attempts at doing something different.
We should be recording this show in the last few days of February or the first week of March.
Thanks,
Nick

The splinter cell series is actually one of the series I've look over and if the revival show any good aspect of the game I wouldn't mind giving it a chance.
Not really a hard game, unless you really wanna be stealthy and not shoot up a storm. Some parts either way do get hard but it is beatable, not as tough as stranger's wrath was.
Excited to see this played this month.
I remember playing this game back when it was released. Pretty solid follow up to Chaos Theory, but still not as good as Chaos Theory. I'll definitely try and post some of my impressions from what I can remember on the forums.
OMG I love this game, happy to see you guys will be playing this.
If you guys will be needing help ill be on the channel helping you guys out.
Splinter Cell Double Agent = PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, Wii, PC
Parasite Eve - PS1
Final Fantasy X-2 - PS2
I'm excited as I already own this game but have yet to play it. I'm going to have to get on it soon though. Anyone know how long this game is approx?
Thank you sir. I was misinformed by another chatter. I herd Splinter Cell was a 360 exclusive.
I apologize for making an argument without having all of the information.
This should make for an interesting Podcast, what with the games long history and the changes made in SC:DA in relation to the series. Look foward to seeing/listening to this at the end of the month.
btw Nick, if you're still searching for new titles for the show, I sent you an email of a list of possible titles.
