So I just wrapped up Siren: New Translation for the PS3. I played through the game live on JTV with hundreds of viewers watching and had a blast with the game. It is definitely going down as one of the scariest games I have ever played. With that said, I am a little in shock after bearing witness to the games ending and am completely baffled by the games timeline. Overall though, Siren is definitely an easy game to recommend to any survival horror fan. Below are a few funny highlights that I would like to point out including the games EPIC ending! EPIC A.I...
EPIC Ending... (***SPOILERS***)
Watch the full episode here:
Siren: New Translation (Episodes 11 & 12) - Episode 4
After I finished this new Siren, I found myself wondering if the original game had the same ending because lets face it, that ending is EPIC and doesn't exactly fit with the style of the rest of the game. Turns out, the original Siren did have the same ending so check it out:
So my summer list now includes:
Metal Gear Solid 4 - 100%
Bourne Conspiracy - 100%
Prince of Persia Sands of Time - 100%
Grand Theft Auto 4 - 100%
Siren: New Translation - 100%
Zone of Enders: 2nd Runner - 100%
Alone in the Dark - 100%
Lost Odyssey - 25%
Prince of Persia Warrior Within - 15%
Thanks for tuning in guys and I am looking forward to returning to the podcast in a little over a weeks time. However, I will continue to post on the blog while on the road. Keep an eye peeled for my list of top 5 best game endings soon and keep in mind that I plan to broadcast Silent Hill Homecoming in September in the same way I did Siren.

That WAS an epic ending... I didn't know what the hell happened or what was going on, but it doesn't take away from the sheer awesomeness. =D
God..
That ending will be in my mind, forever. Thank you Nick.
Thank you for showing nearly 800 people
sheer awesomeness.
I swear if there ever is a Siren: Blood Curse movie, Frankie Muniz better be Howard, and he Better fucking kick ass too.
Wow, was not expecting the original Siren to have a same ending at all. Both seem completely out of place with their games, but the epic mindfuckness makes them great either way. Gotta give it to BC though. Had better choreography, style, music, headphones and Frankie close ups. lol
Hope you have a good time Nick.
Wow, I just noticed, The guy was Sight Jacking you when you killed him...
By the way, I can't really say anything that has not been said already. Thank you for showing us this epic game. You really do like f*cked up sh!t.
Oh, so Bella was his sleigh, it was earth all along and Darth Sol was his father? Wow.
You forgot that it was all a dream djees, and that Melissa was pregnant with Frankie's child.
Well, just before the part with the heavy metal and dancing zombies that one guy with the Glasses basically explained some things. He said that everything keeps looping over and over again because it's the only way that the curse can live on for ever or something of the sort. That at least explains why all the people that died kept coming back to life.
*headbang
Did the guy with the glasses escape the loop?
yeah it was a great ending
I have to say I might have to get a PS3 just to play MGS 4 and Siren after seeing both of those played this summer
