Incoming Sleeper - 'Demon's Souls'

Below are a few videos explaining pretty much everything you need to know about Demon's Souls. This PS3 exclusive, developed by From Software and published by Atlus, is said to be a cross between Zelda, Oblivion, and Shadow of the Colossus. Oh, and it has online co-op. It hits this Fall and there are not many games announced that I am looking forward to more than this one. A word of warning though; I hear the game is fuck hard.

The Asian version of Demon's Souls is 100% fully translated into English, but I think I'm going to wait until the NA release (they will probably clean up the translation). People who are playing this version have been raving about it over on GAF, and Eurogamer reviewed the import and gave it a 9/10. Whatever, just watch these video features on the game:

Damn, looks nice - as the other person said this makes me want a PS3 along with Uncharted 2.

I've been looking at this since E3 and this i think could be one of my most anticipated games of the fall. With videos/interviews stating that it is like many great rpg and action releases and a little reminder on diablo this is one i think ill enjoy for quite a while

I have been watching a bunch of footage on this game and it looks really interesting. Yet another game I need to get a PS3 for.

Not looking forward to how much a PS3 along with this Valkyria Chronicles, Infamous, etc will cost me >.<. Though I am looking forward to playing them all hehe.

Just another reason for me to sell my wii and save up for a PS3. Thanks for pointing out another great game Brad, this hadn't been on my radar before because of the zero coverage on other websites, and now it is. If I have a PS3 by the time this comes out, I'm definitely getting it the first day it is out.

This game looks great...definitley going to get it. I decided against an import when the Asian copy came out...but these videos are beginning to make me think I made the wrong decision. The videos just show another good title that im almost certainly going to pick up.

Someone on my PSN friensd list has been playing this and she told me that the game is amazing. She told me some little features that make the game so good.

Definitley getting getting this either way, should I import or should I wait is the question though.

Looks like this is a game where you have to survive or die trying, since most of these monsters will kill you in less than 5 hits. It sounds insane where you have to fight these gigantic bosses too, but it's even better with more people fighting.

This is looking very nice - it's a game I'm definitely gonna grab once it's released over here. Hell, if I'm tempted enough I might even import it from Korea or Hong Kong.

Wow, PS3 has so many exclusives that i want but i just cant afford to get a second console at the moment. I thought the online co-op would be arbitrary but the note system looks really good for boss tactics and hidden areas. Why can't the consoles just spread the love and forget about exclusives?

I want this so bad, but sadly I dont own a PS3 yet. Rest assured though that as soon as I get one, this is going to be my first purchase.

Damn, Atlus... Why do your DS games suck so bad yet everything else is amazing?

Thank you for pointing this out. I've been in need of a good adventure game.

The online system seems unique, from what I've read it doesn't look like there will be an invite option so you can just hunt with friends.

Still, I'll definitely pick this up.
