Well now, that just looks really sad. You have what looks to be a good badass game on your left and a kiddy game on the right. And the scores for both games...Well seems like the kid game takes the icing off of the cake. Was Godhand really that bad? I've haven't played it.
Uhm what are you talking about? If IGN get a Babie game they test it as a baby game not as a hardcore game. And apparently godhand just sucks... So there's nothing weird about this.
wtf is wrong with people!!!??? i mean: "bad voiceacting"... that's part of the game. godhands has sort of its own charm. so they wanna tell me, that a casual game with babies, has more charm, then godhand..?
This is why IGN is horrible at how they judge games. Haven't they played any of those beat-em-ups from the 90's? GodHand was meant to have those characteristics, and they succeed in doing so. IGN's full of those goddamn casual gamers that don't appreciate something for what it's meant to be. All they care about is the goddamn shovelware. Where's the love for GodHand?
Maybe thats what they want Xero, the view point of the casual gamers and not the hardcore ones. I just found it really odd they'd have a more enjoyable time playing "party babyz" then God Hand. Is that saying something about they're staff?
That goddamned score is infamous among God Hand fans. It is simply, flat-out wrong. Anyone who has played it will know why. Sure it's ugly as sin, but the gameplay is phenomenal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xnrs6JGz7Rc
this is another case of a reviewer reviewing it as what they think the game is, not what it really is. i mean, playing the game, i found the voice work bad yes but it added to the feel of the game. it added the exageration and the over the topness and everything.
If Gene saw this he'd be inclined to spout the Heavy quote "What sick man sends babies to fight?" This only serves to further prove we are living in Dark Age of Shovelware.
I remember posting a link to that picture in chat a few days ago. But I got the picture from chat the day before posting it. So you know what, it doesnt matter because that picture still makes me gape when I see it
Come on! God Hand was bad ass! I agree, the story was a little bad, in a way, but the dialog was mostly comic relief.
You have to admit, the graphics was pretty good for the PS2.
Again, the dialog was funny and the voices could've been better, but they were bearable.
WTF! Gameplay got 2.5!? The combat system was awesome, the fact that you can make your combo and set different attacks to different buttons wasn't done before that. Player control could match that of the old Resident Evil game in which you press right to turn right, with the exception that the camera stays behind you. I admit the camera control could be better but that just adds talent. Level design isn't supposed to be the greatest for a beat-em-up. Again, I repeat: It's a beat-em-up, on the ps2 for that matter. When you're beating random people trying to kill you, you're not going to care how detailed they look.
Though the lasting appeal I partly agree with. The game is surprisingly lengthy for a simple game and it does get frustrating, but the game hardly ever gets boring.

WTF
Maybe this just shows that the IGN peoople are just a bunch of babies when it comes to good games.

There is no god...
Everyday losing more faith in IGN's ability to review...

I had no idea they gave God Hand such a bad score. I won't be visiting their site again.
Also, I pre-ordered Bayonetta yesterday. You've sold me, hard.

Not so sure what this post is trying to say...

Wow, IGN really blows nowadays.

I think I just lost my faith in humanity.
...
Just... Wow.

There's just something wrong with that. It's probably because so many people are going for "family games" so anything else is rated down.
this is why I don't try to hear opinions from many big game site reviews, they're horrible.
now I'm gonna go and kill someone
Seriously? I thought this was a pic someone photoshopped to mock IGN when I first saw it.
I'm going to start a reviewer site, and Shovelware gets exactly 1 point.
WTF indeed.
Either IGN really loves Babies, they really hate God (or his....hands.....?), or they're out of their fucking MINDS!
I think it's a little of all.
If Gene saw this he'd be inclined to spout the Heavy quote "What sick man sends babies to fight?" This only serves to further prove we are living in Dark Age of Shovelware.
Lmao, A baby game got a higher rating. That's a sad day in history
Rofl wow thats Dumb, Imagine Baby's Partying all night long.. hmmm seems boring
Seems as though IGN is as IGNorant as ever.
IGN is a comment on their reviewer hiring requirements:
Intelligence? Gamers? Neither.
