About l4d2 is xbox's fault. And it's not the big Valve team that works on it. The same people are still working on Episode 3, theres new peeps from turtle rock studios working with l4d2. Episode 3 wont take longer cause of l4d2.
TF2 still has it's dedicated team making patches and updates for it. l4d will still receive more free updates and patches.
Sure, l4d2 seems unnessessary and stupid but they have different teams working on different games, the progress of the other games wont be going slower cause of l4d2.
