It's Too Late For Me

Dear 4PlayerPodcast Community,

As you may have noticed, I've been having troubles finding time to post recently. I don't know how to say this, but it's over for me. There is no turning back. I've opened a door and cannot find a way to close it. I could try to put the blame on someone else, but that would be foolish. It was my own fault for opening it in the first place and the fatal disease that I contracted was of my own accord.

It started out as just a little fun, I never meant for it to go as far as it has. But now it has sucked my life out and eventually will claim my soul. I am addicted to the Japanese TV Drama....

I tried so hard for years to avoid watching any. I barley made it past Attention Please. Nodame Cantabile was a difficult time for me. But now because of a recent Mei-chan no Shitsuji, I've lost.

I guess the third time was the charm. Now I am wrapped up in Atashinchi no Danshi and Hana Yori Dango. I have Hana Kimi downloading. I am currently looking for Celeb to Binbo Taro, and Nobuta wo Produce, Innocent Love, and Orange Days.

It's over for me guys. It was nice knowing you. But it will probably be a while before you see me again.

Sayonara...
David

Have you read the manga for Hana Kimi? If you have, the drama is an extremely poor adaption. >_>; But if you like i guess mei-chan then you will probably like it because the students are always goofing off and playing games of some sort in almost episode. Felt like i was watching a game show instead of a drama ugggh*

I've only ever watched one J-Drama which is called Trick. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trick_(TV_series)
It's a really entertaining mystery drama which you might want to check out if it's your type of thing.

Other than that, good luck with your new addiction. :o

Noooo, David, why? It's all downhill from here.

Seriously, coming from a recovering addict, it's almost impossible to put that stuff down. You will be watching series non-stop for days.

That being said, I love Nobuta wo Produce. Kon kon <3!

If you can handle sad stuff, I'd also recommend 1 Litre no Namida. Heartbreaking, but pretty good.

David, I eagerly await your return, and if necessary, will stage an intervention.

David you're such a blogtease.

I started watching anime again and realized how much I liked it. So I am not far behind you on the dorama wagon. ;_;

...Good luck David.

You're going to need it.

:) I thought the Hana-kimi drama was all right, not good because I read the manga first but, yeah.

lol, i looked to see who posted before i read it and i instantly knew what it was going to be about after the first sentence. youve also got me intersted in these damn things now!

Ive only seen some attention please and whatever you were broadcasting on thursday night but its deffinetly got me intersted in a sort of, its so bad that its good kind of way. Luckly ive got ALOT of other VERY important stuff to do right now though.

The term "drama" dosnt seem to mean the same thing over there as it does in america/england.

I think I cried buckets for 1 litre of tears so i recommend that too. "Smile" has been pretty good so far, since Aragaki Yui's cuteness is enough to get me hooked. <3

Agh, that's pretty bad. I was an addict a couple months ago, until I eventually forced myself to stop. But, I still watch, only one at a time though, as it can get too bad. I hope you can resist the temptation.

I personally recommend Hataraki Man, though I enjoy the anime more. See you in a decade, David!
