I Should Have Known Better and The Future

I got an email from someone who shall remain anonymous. It was titled, Swine Flu Origins. It was someone who I have a lot of trust in, so I took the time to click on it and read what it had to say.

I should have known better than to take that email seriously. This is the same person who once sent me an email explaining why one of our friends was "whipped" by his girlfriend and then included a picture of a woman's vagina with fake dracula's teeth inserted into them.

These are dark and desperate times. The "economy" is in the shitter. The country is in a state of panic because of the fear of a wide spread epidemic. But I can always count on family and friends to lighten the mood.

Thanks for the laugh,
David

If my plane goes down while headed to LA, tell them I was actually headed for Japan.

Append - Oh, I forgot to add. Today I got an email at work explaining that you cannot get Swine Flu from eating Pork Products. Nice to know.

Good news is the virus may not be as deadly as everyone with a High School level knowledge of biology thinks it is.

so, yay we all won't be dying anytime soon. Unless the even deadlier strain of Bear Flu breaks out.

Everyone may not be overly paranoid about it but where I live (where there are cases confirmed) everyone is freaking out.

...and I'm not the least worried (is that wrong?). Oh yeah. Because it isn't deadly. :|

Bear flu? Roll over and you'll be fine (unless there is a real bear flu out there, nevermind my lame attempt at being witty).

Wishing you guys well,
Laelah.

I still only heard 1 person died in the US. By the way, that person is a 24 months year old baby FROM Mexico, not America.

We honestly should not be paronoid. We already had the swine flu like 4 times already. 1918 was really serious but compare then and now. 1976 there was only 1 death and also in 1988. Also compare Mexico's living standards and America's.

Blame corporate media and also the idiotic masses for believing whatever the media says.

I knew you couldnt get it from eating pork on day 1. People are just stupidly over paranoid about this :|

Nobody even said dont eat pork, some people just instantly assumed that every pig in the world was inefcted and that all pig meat was contaminated.

Even if you could catch it from eating it, we'd still cook it and that would kill the problem, right? That's why I didn't buy cherry tomatoes cuz someone could have sneezed on them...

Also, I saw that pic a year ago. The caption was, "Bacon, not done yet."
