Continuing with my writing at HookedGamers.com, they've put up my Valkyria Chronicles review. If you've been around the podcast/broadcast for the last couple months, you'll know that we were all completely in love with the game and the story. It won Game of the Year from us last year and has been painfully overlooked. I've heard rumors that it will be part of GameStop's Game Days Sale starting this Sunday, so here is your chance to pick it up. If you have a PS3 and even remotely are open to trying an RPG there is not reason why you shouldn't own this game. You can check it out the review here if you'd want more convincing.
Valkyria Chronicles Review

Great review, but you should do some proofreading, particularly with the names. Also, try not to repeat ideas, for example a sentence starting with, "From your first interaction with local militia leader..." is followed directly with, "Right from the start..." We already know that you're talking about your initial meeting with Alicia, so there's no reason to mention it twice in succession.
Aside from small things like these, you've done a great job. I appreciate how well you cover the characters, storyline, and battle system in order to communicate them clearly to the reader even with the review's shorter format. I'm looking forward to your future reviews, and how you grow as a writer.
Good review of the game and informative for those who have never heard of or played Valkyria Chronicles , If there is one game I would love to own it would be this one.
cool thanks guys,
trastan, if you want to email me specifics, go ahead
i'll try to get them fixed.
really awesome review, best one yet.
If you haven't bought Valkyria Chronicles then this upcoming Sunday will be the time to do it. There will be a Gamestop Gamedays sale there and Valkyria Chronicles will be $30 (that's half price!). Now of course there are other games like Guitar Hero: Aerosmith ($10) but really the best game on sale is Valkyria Chronicles.
David: I am looking at trying to write for the hookedgamers.com site. Who do I get in contact with? You can PM me the info if you want...
