omg, that baby chocobo is soooooooooooooooooooo cute <3
The game does look absolutely gorgeous but that's to be expected, this is Final Fantasy after all. The gameplay honestly, to me, just looks like a slightly refined and sped up version of traditional FF turn-based combat, not that there's anything wrong with that.
I do feel that the gameplay kind of looks like it borrows a few aspects from FFX-2, which honestly mixed some of my favorite gameplay in an FF series with my favorite FF world. Unfortunately the story and pacing left something to be desired.
All things considered, this is a game that I am really looking forward to playing. I have a habit of losing interest in JRPG's half-way through mainly because the story just isn't motivating enough for me to trudge through the gameplay especially considering the formidable length of most JRPG's.
I've seen this happen more and more with recent releases and haven't really gotten into a new JRPG since Lost Odyssey which I felt was a letdown despite it's great presentation.
Perhaps FFXIII will be the game to revitalize my interest in the genre. Until then, I think I'll look into a number of the older JRPG's that have been recommended to me.
I love the final fantasy series. So it is a definate buy for me considering well it's Final Fantasy and the game looks extremely amazing with graphics, music and battle system. I know I'm going to love this one. Yeah, I'm rambling and I don't care. haha I want this game but I'm going to have to wait with everyone else.
