Project Origin = F.E.A.R. 2
Well it finally happened. Monolith got their hands on the rights to the title "F.E.A.R" and has officially changed the name of the game from "Project Origin" to "F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin". I'm pretty happy that they managed to do this but I was finally getting used to the original name. Anyways, a new trailer was released with the new title included and the game still looks phenomenal. The more I watch videos of the game, the more I notice the influence of DOOM3 in this game (or franchise). Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad thing at all. Monolith seems to have learned a lot from what games like DOOM have done and managed to improve on the formula further in order to create a whole new experience all together. Check out the new trailer and enjoy:

The game looks awesome and exciting. I better get started on the first game! I also found Project Origin as an alone title, was better suited for the game.
Hopefully this will quash any future confusion. Maybe help move some copies. I do wonder if it will have any multiplayer. I don't think I've seen any news about that yet.
The beginning threw me off for a sec. I was thinking, "Wow these are great next gen graphics, but it looks a lot like the first". Just goes to show how good the first is. As for the last half, it looks great. Although I'm getting a very strong and strange Condemned 2 vibe from it (I even bet the main character will move like Ethan judging by the trailer), thats not necessarily a bad thing. Can't wait to see more of it.
lol, also have to give props on how they revealed the full title, starting with PO then showing FEAR. Clever.
Am I the only one who didn't really care for Project Origin as an alone title. I'm pretty happy they added F.E.A.R 2 on to it.
I guess the marketing people figured out that some people didn't come around the first FEAR and just wanted them to remember that they should try it first because 2.
