It Happens Every Year...

So in 2008, I became known for getting flack from David and Brad about playing and enjoying games like Turok and The Bourne Conspiracy... So what game is coming out in 2009 that will earn me the same kind of attention on the Podcast? I'm ashamed to admit it, but the game known only as "WET" re-emerged today after being dropped by Activision-Vivendi and is still slated for a 2009 release. I'm not sure who the new publisher is or if this game can be any good.... but I intend to find out. Move over Turok, WET is gonna be the source of my suffering this year. Let the jokes begin Brad. Bring it David.

Looks like a new premise for a game, but can they deliver a solid story along with awesome gameplay...I guess we will just have to wait and see how they game will be.

*whispers conspiratorialy* Though I have yet to play it I bought the Bourne game too. I love the books and the movies are great too. I had high hopes for the game but just haven't even touched it since the day I bought it.

They may give you crap about the games you play but I'm sure you could dish it back at them if you wanted, you are just too classy for that.

I really like the style that they're going for. Check out the site to get a better sense of it:

However, I'd really like to see some videos showing off the gameplay. It still might end up like Afro Samurai, which has nice visuals but seems to have trite gameplay.

Too bad it's without a publisher at the moment. :/

*After watching the trailer*
Do want

*looks through games they made*
Do not want

but I'll still give this a chance to win me over though. I mean look at WayForward who made Contra 4. Before Contra they were making like $20 spongebob games

I'll give it a big chance.
