WoW in an Art Form

A man, or woman, has created this music video using World of Warcraft Characters and Settings. The catch is, the animations are his, or her, own.
This is by Percula.

The Craft of War: BLIND from percula on Vimeo.

Thanks to Invader Random for sending this to me.

I remember seeing this about a week ago it's simply amazing. Never seen anything like it before.

I thought the maker could have picked a more fitting music though.

Like the creator of the movie said, the music is primarily for pacing the story along with the beat. But he also said he picked it for choice words in the song and such. If he does end up making this a series it'll be awesome. I don't care what music he uses. This might not have had the same impact or mood if he used just generic Stormwind music or something. Besides, what better song for a "playful" rogue battle than "Hide & Seek"? ;)

Also Travis, thanks for...well, thanking me! ^.^ This was just too amazing not to share. You can bet if I see something interesting that I think should be seen by many, I'll definitly send it to you and the guys, or put it on the forums!...Like the MGS cast improv video :)

That's a pretty cool video, especially if the maker did his/her own animations on it

From someone who doesn't care a whole lot for WoW and from an art lovers perspective I have to say I loved it!

WoW Machinima just gets better and better every year. Tales of the Past III is another good one that kind of upped everyones hype for WotLK. I hope the creator of this video will go on and do greater things as a career in this field. Excellent CG. Bloodfang gear ftw :)

i am both glad and saddened that WoW is not like that, saddened cause I'd actually play it if it were, glad because... it'd get extremely annoying
