I'm not sure if you guys have ever heard of this new invention. It's called the MP3 Player. Instead of me having to carry around all my cds I can just rip all of them into an audio file called an MP3. I can then put a bunch of these onto the MP3 "player." All my music is sorted and easily available to me. It's absolutely amazing and if you haven't tried one yet, I suggest you all immediately go to the nearest electronics store and check it out.
My personal favorite is the Zune 30. The new Zune's are alright, but I don't like the navigation button and the size and placement of the play and back buttons. I liked the Zune 30 so much that I bought two more this holiday season after a price drop. I now have a total of three Zune 30s for a total of 90 GB.
Now why did I do this? Some may call me a little eccentric. I like to keep my music separate. I have all my Japanese Music on my first Zune. All my American music on my second one. And I'm not 100% sure what I'll end up doing with my last one. I have plenty of ideas and I'll let you know when I've figured it out.
So I'm back into American music again. I've been frantically trying to get my hands on all sorts of CDs. Buying. Borrowing. Downloading. I've been thinking about writing about music on the blog. Brad and I had discussed talking about movies too. Anyone interested?
Thanks,
David
PS - I also think that MP3 player pictured is an actual one you can buy. The Saint B Cross MP3 player.

I am very interested in all of your tastes in music. I like to call myself a "Music Whore" . . I listen to every single genre and I am fairly easy to please musically. I have recently been looking for some new music to enjoy, and I would be very, very interested to hear what you all like. =) Please share. We all already know Travis' eccentric music collection.
As for movies, I love them also, but am not as interested as with the music... However, I love me some good soundtracks if you decided to add that in with your discussions.
Share away~!

Sorry to double-post, but as an afterthought...
If you're looking for new stuff, I would be very happy to share. I have a large library, and I'm pretty sure I have a document of all my bands + albums. Let me know! I have lots of American and foreign, Indie and Industry, all genres.

An 30gb Mp3 for each side of the world? That's a lil' more than I can afford to spend myself. XD;
Interesting to see your tastes in music though.
im more intersested in movies but yeah do em both
I'd love to see more music and movie blogs from you guys. Also, I think that MP3 player you posted up looks kind of cool.
I'd be happy to refer you to some music.
I'm not familiar with the zune, but if it play video you can use that on the 3rd one or maybe place foren music like germand, spanish, italian or french song. It could be fun
Music and movie discussion would be great.
I always love to hear about new and interesting music. I also have a very wide range when it comes to taste, but lack of time and too many things to do have prevented me from finding new music. I'd also be open to recommending music if wished.
Movies I've been slightly on the ball with but still a miss a majority of them.
I'd read 'em. Also, you should check out Reel Big Fish.
why not just two separate folders for each?
Music in the blog sounds fun. I'm always on the lookout for new artists, and I could recommend a few if you'd like (I hope you're interested in electronic music and anything related; its pretty much all I know :) )
I would be very interested in reading about movies and music on the blog. And that mp3 player reminds me of trigun.
i mainly listens to the vocaloid songs, so really can't help you with the suggestions as it's quite an aquired taste.
It would be interesting to see you guys talking about music in the blogs.
Would this mean more music in the feed?
I....I really don't know what to say about that.
a few things:
1st off: It looks retarded.
next: is that sacrilege?
lastly: With headphones plugged into that, it will look retarded.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
