wow i thought you'd like it but i didn't think you'd go so far as to post it in a blog, i'm honored and glad you liked it. :) i also sent david a link to an awesome Japanese AMV for Shadow of the Colossus so i hope he shares it with you. i think the music captures the feeling of the game quite well.
i also found a commercial for Symphony of the Night (since i know you like that and so do i) it's not that great, but i'm sure you've seen it
That is, unquestionable, probably the best ad I've ever seen, for anything at all. The way the people in the supermarket are all like "thankyou so much for spanking this bitch senseless!"
It's a shame I did'nt really enjoy the game that much - the controls were just a little too clunky and limited for me. It did have an awesome feel and character about it though.
God Hand was one of the last games by Clover studio, the amazing group that did Okami and a few other real PS2 classics. Unfortunately they got closed down because their products were too awesome and made the rest of the games industry look like a retarded child doodling giant crabs on the wall in crayon.
The game was a freaking batshit insane roaming brawler done from a sort of RE4 perspective with a pretty cool, involved combo system featuring spanking people til they cry, and launching gorillas into space with one punch. Unfortunately it was also harder than chinese algebra and had a kind of clunky control / camera system that kind of stopped me from really enjoying it. Definitely worth checking out though.
God Hand is hands down one of favorite games of all times. I encourage you all to go check it out. A little warning though, this game is rape-you-in-the-ass-prison-style difficult. But learning to get good at the game is a lot of the fun.
