First off, Sin & Punishment 2 doesn't look that amazing visually, but it's wonderful that the game is coming out at all. I'm just wondering how it will actually play.Cave Story coming out for the Wii. Fantastic. It sucks that all these games which are already made as indie PC games are coming out for consoles. It also sucks that they are going to have to be subject to corporate pricing, but it is nice that these games are finally being noticed. I've loved the music from Cave Story, we used it as our opening a few times, and it's great that we'll be able to go out a buy a copy which we'll be able to play on the ease of a console with a controller.
The DSi, I don't know about this one. I'm fairly tired of rebuying systems I already own. I understand this is a way for Nintendo to reach a new market and that not everyone is the hardcore game buyer that buys all the systems at launch. Brad seems pretty excited/bummed about the new bigger screen. But what I'm more worried about is if the games being made for the system are going to change. I'd hate to have games that are going to be exclusive to the new system because of certain technological advantages. That's always a quick way to piss off people, make them feel like they lost out by buying the system early.
Mario & Luigi 3. Awesome announcement. Looks like I'll be holding off of Sonic Chronicles.
The new Punch-Out is an interesting idea. But the chance for failure is huge. Point One, all the characters shown so far are the same. It would be nice to have a non remake game on the Wii. Point Two, motion controls, which I'm sure they're going to use, will not work with a game like this. If they plan to keep the game play tight, fast paced, and twitch based, Wii Motion Plus better be amazing. Third Point, What's the price going to be? And how long will the game last? I don't see them putting a good versus mode or online play in. So for 50 bucks how much is game is there going to be?
I heard Club Nintendo is coming to the states finally. Too bad it won't be nearly as cool as the Japanese one. Club Nintendo in Japan has DS games you can only get from being a Club Member. I don't see that happening here. And even if it does, Japan will just get some sort of super limited edition to make ours look like crap again.
Finally the biggest excitement and disappointment. Pikmin for the Wii will be a remake. I'm trying to keep positive about this one guys. Pikmin is one of my favorite games of all time. But unless the Wii Controls are amazing, I don't see this one taking over.
I'm running out of batteries so I'm out for now,
David

You should read the interview with Cammie Dunaway she states that the Pikmin Miyamoto talks about is NOT a remake, there will be a Pikmin 3
Here it is
http://wii.ign.com/articles/915/915864p1.html
IGN: One of those GCN rereleases for Wii is Pikmin. We just want to clarify that this is not Pikmin 3 that Miyamoto referenced at E3 2008.
Cammie Dunaway: It's not the Pikmin that Mr. Miyamoto referred to, no. Mr. Miyamoto referred to a new Pikmin, as opposed to the classics that are being rereleased on Wii.
dude, Cammie Dunaway has no clue what she's talking about.
She's all over the place.
She probably thinks Pikmin is a place you can buy Nintendogs from.
Dont be to excited about club nintendo, if its anything like the uk and europe club nintendo your going to be VERY disappointed, its always got things like shirts, caps and even a gold statue of link on epona...that are always sold out, al you can buy are wallpapers and the odd keyring or ds screen wiping sponge.
no im not joking, really, thats it.
-plus i saved up over 10,000pts, was told by nintendo that i should have paid attention to there use em or lose em policy and they had been deleted , so to get anything good youve gotta be buying at least one nintendo game every 2 weeks, other wise youll get no were near the 15,000 for the good stuff.
hey neoh,
i hope you didnt find my comment overly negative. I may have worded them poorly.
I love Pikmin. It would be awesome if Pikmin 3 is a new Pikmin game.
But I don't see Nintendo working on two "Pikmin" games at the same time. It's not exactly a best sellers franchise. So personally, I think Cammie is just saying that they're working on another Pikmin game to soften the reaction to Pikmin being a remake. I don't doubt that they're "working" on another Pikmin game. But I don't think we'll see it anytime soon, especially if there's a Wii Version Pikmin already coming out.
David
Nah its alright David, I can see where you're getting from, especially after her not so stellar performance at E3. Also in that interview she does seem to not really answer the questions a lot.
But I have hope :/, and I'm probably reading into this too much but the way IGN worded their question it sounded as if they knew it wasn't the new one he had talked about.
