When I saw this commercial for Halo CE I knew at that moment video games were really going to be a major portion of my life and still is even today.
Halo CE Commercial
Well, when I saw my uncle playing Counter-Strike(old version) I was like "Holy shiet you can play with people and kill them..with guns?"
I didn't knew I was going to be pretty attach to video games.
I actually have a series of moments. It began with Paperboy on the NES along with Mario. Then I would go with my cousin's house and they have so many gaming systems, so I would play to my heart's content. Contra, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro. Soon enough, I got my own systems and it started from there.
@Gunny T Highway: that isn't Halo CE, that's just Halo.
@Brad/post author: I'm not sure what made me want to stick with gaming... Maybe it was just the fact that so many games were coming out that had great stories behind them. I love me a good story :D
possibly a lot earlier, when i played silent hill. but most likely that final fantasy x trailer were tidus is by zanarkands ruins and its playing to zanarkand.

I got that game with Snes for my birthday when I was little. That commercial alone pretty much sealed my fate for life, while people seem mixed on the series...I just have always loved it.

Call me a big lame-o, but when I beat The Elite Four in the Original Pokemon, I was a mere 6 Years old, and it effected me in a big way, That feeling of accomplishment, it made me grow up with the ideal that Video games aren't little hobbies, they can be considered an artform, be played competitively, and hold a great adventure.
Wow, I remember this commercial. I don't remember what kinda stuff I was watching back in high school but this commercial must have run a million times. I went to 3 stores on release day before I finally picked up my copy and turned in the keys to a normal life.
