Brad's Laundry List - "New Found Love" Edition

I have discovered what is now one of my new favorite video game franchises. I had always thought the premise of Hitman was creative, but I never could get over the steep learning curve of the mechanics. Well my friends, that cliff has been conquered, and I am now a "silent assassin" for life. Fiendishly clever assassination scenarios and brilliant level design easily outweigh the iffy control mechanics and flaky AI. Add in a heavy dose of dark humor, and you can see how the series manages to stand up with the best of the genre (I'm looking at you Sam and Snake). A new Hitman is coming out in 2010 and I could not be more excited. Anyway, here is everything else I'm working on.

Hitman: Blood Money
Fallout 3: Point Lookout

Brad's Laundry List - "Blame Netflix" Edition

Not much new beaten since the last list, but quite a few new games started. Problem is, I don't know which of the those games I should play through first. I've also included some games I'm strongly considering starting soon. Honestly, I think my new Netflix subscription is the reason for my slow progress. I've seen 12 movies since my last list. In fact... I'm watching one now as I type this.

Completed:
Devil May Cry 3 [Round 3]

Working On:
Jade Empire - [Attempt 2] (50%)
Red Dead Revolver - (25%)
Parasite Eve 2 - (15%)
Mark of Kri - (30%)
Saints Row 2 - (Cat Outfit%)
Doom 3 - (25%)

Handhelds:
Henry Hatsworth - (25%)
Tomba! - (25%)
Suikoden 2 - [Round 2] (2%)

Starting Soon?:
Way of the Samurai - (10-90%)?
Vagrant Story - [Attempt 2] (0%)

Note: The [Round n] tags refer to the games I have already completed in the past. The [Attempt n] tags refer to games I am playing from scratch again even though I played a large portion of those games in the past.

What are you playing?

Brad

Brad's Laundry List - What should I play now?

I'm at weird place now. I really don't know what I want to be playing. The Revival Club Podcast has also given me reasons to play through some older games and finish those up. I've also been completely replaying through Devil May Cry 3; and I do love that game. But the thing I love about playing games every night on the feed is that I get finish games I would probably have never started in the first place.

I want to play some more recent, but nothing is catching my eye. And many of the game that do interest me right now are on handhelds and/or are RPGs. Is Saints Row 2 ever going to get a price drop? Should I rent House of the Dead: Overkill? Leave comments in the comments sections with some ideas of more recent games (2008-2009) that you would like to see on the feed and I will make a poll.

Anyways, here is where I stand since my last laundry list.

Completed:
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Parasite Eve
MadWorld
Resident Evil 5
Peggle XBLA (Adventure mode)
Tomb Raider: Beneath the Ashes
Tomb Raider: Lara's Shadow

Working On:

Henry Hatsworth (20%)
Parasite Eve 2 (15%?)
Crimson Skies (10%)
Red Dead Revolver (0%)

Post a comment with some game ideas,

I'm working on way too many RPGs really. The goal is to finish up any 2008 game that I started and was enjoying last year. Just so happens quite a few of those games were RPGs.
