Here it comes

I am going to play a couple of games online. This will include the following:

Mercenaries 2
Too Human
Castle Crashers
... and a vengeful sidekick for a certain FPS game.

With all that said I hope y'all are more than ready to join me tomorrow around 4-5 PM Central time. I should be playing a good five to six hours... perhaps longer if certain events don't happen outside the HQ. Well be prepared. I am hoping to make up for lost time within a couple of hours... should be one hell of a ride.

Looking forward to a damn good time,

Travis

Dead Space a Week Early

Instead of being pushed back, EA's Dead Space has actually been moved forward a week. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will hit retail stores on the 14th of Oct while the PC version is still expected to land on shelves on the 21st. This is cool... but this better be good EA. O how I want to like you.

Brad's Laundry List - Horror Week Edition

Horror Week is still on track guys. I have been playing a few other games, but I'm still playing the big games I mentioned at the beginning of the week. Here is my progress.

Resident Evil REmake - 30-40%?
Silent Hill 4 - 65%?
Killer 7 - 50%
Darkwatch - 60-70%?

I expect to finish one or both of these games by Sunday night, so tune in for more scares.

As strange as it may seem, this is why I'm buying Tales of Vesperia.

Costumes, costumes, costumes. I'm such a costume whore. Lately the Tales of series has been full of sweet costume side-quests. I really don't know what it is, I just love dressing up my characters.

Here is what I'm talking about from Tales of the Abyss: Costumes!

Really though there is more to me picking up this game. I really enjoyed what I played of Tales of the Abyss, but quite frankly, the game ran like shit. I hear Vesperia looks nicer, runs a lot smoother and quicker, has a better battles system, and finally has voiced "skits"(character interaction). Even if the game doesn't change all that much, a better Abyss could be worth the price of admission.

First Footage of Aliens on the Jace Hall Show

Hey guys, I just stumbled across this gaming show that some of you may or may not be familiar with, "The Jace Hall Show". I watched the whole episode and found it to be very funny and very interesting. The first in game footage of Aliens: Colonial Marines is featured in a humorous situation and Jace gets knocked out by John Carmack of Id Software... check it out.

Also, if you have ever wondered how Texas game developers create working prototypes of their games, check this episode out:

This week on the feed....

That's right my peoples. You wanted it, and now you are going to get more of it than you can handle. I'm not a huge fan of these games, but it is want you want to see. It isn't that I don't like playing scary games, because I love getting scared, it is just that these game often have terrible gameplay with too much tedious backtracking. I don't know how much I'll be screaming, but it should be fun either way.

Here is the lineup:

I started playing this last night, so if you missed it check the archives. For some reason I have had this game forever but never played it. The graphics are sexy and all, I just think the series has evolved for the better. Either way, I will finish the game this week. There has been a few scares, and I think it's safe to say you should expect more. This game is fucking creepy.

That's right folks, this game will be beaten. Some of the biggest scares in the game have yet to happen, but I'm determined to get through this crap. I've beaten SH 2 and 3 on the feed already, so I need to wrap this one up before the sequel hits.

With the help of missjokergirl, hopefully I can get through this short survival horror game this week. Though the dude with a giant hammer isn't nearly creepy as that guy with giant scissors from the original, the goofy ass run of the scared British lass makes this game so very much worth it.

This game might not be considered a survival horror, but I'll be damned if it didn't creep the shit out of me. I do need to finish this, so I will be looking to people for help to not only figure out where to go, but also how to make sense of this fucked up story.

While not really all that scary, this game is based in horror. I might have to break up the slow plodding pace of the survival horrors this week with some pure twitch based vampire western gameplay.
